Custom Process

CONSULTATION – The process begins with your personal consultation. This can be done in person, via email, phone or skype. Our purpose is to outline inspirations, colors, paper choices, theme, guest numbers and any further details pertinent to your event – resulting in your perfect custom design along with an accurate quote.
CONCEPT/INSPIRATION – Feel free to share your thoughts and anything that inspires you – in fact we encourage it because out of the box is what we do. At MWDesigns we will guide you through the beautiful choices of paper, the print options available and supply the creative know how to ensure your custom design is truly unique.
AGREEMENT – An agreement will be attached to the final quote. The agreement will include the date your order is projected to be ready, quantities and all stationery involved. It will also list all information that we need from you in order to start designing (ie: wording, guest list, addresses etc.). As the process goes on it is very common to add additional projects (who doesn’t want their entire event to match?!), at this point another quote will be provided.
Before your order can be secured in our design schedule a 50% deposit is required.
DESIGN – Once all details are finalized and the deposit has been submitted the design process will begin.
Three changes are permitted free of charge with all custom stationery designs. Any other changes will incur additional hourly fees.
The custom design process takes anywhere between 2-4 weeks depending on detail of project.
PROOFS – PDF proofs of your design will be sent to you periodically through email to keep you updated with the progress. Following design approval you will then be responsible for overlooking ALL details of the design in terms of spelling and correct information pertaining to your specific event.
Printing the stationery will commence once everything has your approval. Depending on the type of printing the production process takes anywhere between 2-4 weeks with printing and assembly.
PAYMENT & DELIVERY OR PICK UP – The final 50% installment of your order will be collected upon delivery or pick up. If delivery or pick up is not an option shipping is available however payment must be made in full before your order will be shipped out. It is encouraged to purchase insurance on any package that is being delivered through a third party.
